Several auto and truck manufacturers have issued recalls for a variety of reasons.

General Motors: Tire information label may state the incorrect rear tire pressure

General Motors is recalling some 2024-2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and GMC Sierra 2500 vehicles equipped with the enhanced towing option and 20-inch accessory tire/wheel package. The tire information label may state the incorrect rear tire pressure, resulting in underinflated tires and preventing the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) from displaying a low tire pressure warning. Driving with underinflated tires can increase the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects eight vehicles. Dealers will inspect, update the engine control module software, apply a tire label overlay, inflate tires to the correct pressure, and perform a tire pressure monitor system re-learn process as necessary. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Sept. 28.

International: Retaining nut in the wiper assembly may loosen

International Motors is recalling some 2027 HV, HX, LT, MV, and RH trucks. A retaining nut in the wiper assembly may loosen, causing both windshield wipers to disconnect from the motor. Inoperative windshield wipers can reduce the driver’s visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 49 vehicles. Dealers will tighten the wiper motor drive nut and three motor mounting bolts.

Mack: Center roof marker lights may fail to illuminate

Mack Trucks is recalling some 2027 Anthem AN (4) and Pioneer PR (4) vehicles. The center roof marker lights may fail to illuminate. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.” Marker lights that fail to illuminate can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 513 vehicles. Dealers will replace the center roof marker light.

Volvo: Center roof marker lights may fail to illuminate

Volvo Trucks North America  is recalling some 2027 VNL (4) and VNR (4) vehicles. The center roof marker lights may fail to illuminate. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, “Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.” Marker lights that fail to illuminate can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

This recall potentially affects 1,851 vehicles. Dealers will replace the center roof marker light.
